our recent stay in york was made even more memorable thanks to the exceptional facilities and warm hospitality provided by our hosts at the retreat. the central location, free secure parking, and comfortable layout of the property exceeded our expectations. the cleanliness, home-like atmosphere, and the thoughtful goodies provided made us feel truly relaxed and at home.

We had a fantastic stay at the cozy and well-designed flat in the heart of York. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the city on foot. The free secure parking was a huge plus, as parking in York can be expensive. The cleanliness of the apartment was top-notch, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with their thoughtful gestures, such as providing scones, strawberries. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the outside sitting area was a lovely spot to relax with a glass of wine. We also appreciated the detailed travel guidance provided, which helped us plan our exploration of York. we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend County House Retreat to others.

Although the flat was cozy, it was a bit small, especially considering the space allocated to the kitchen. This limited the room for spreading out.
